This project originated from the necessity of reducing OR time during craniotomy surgical procedure.
Results
Reduction of surgical interventions
Better aesthetic results
Reduction of surgical procedure time
Cost reduction as a consequence of the lower in time and avoidance of re-intervention.
Without the intraoperatory guide it would have been necessary two surgical procedures, one for the craniotomy and one for the cranioplasty. Hence the reduction of time and cost.
